About Brussels

Brussels is the capital of Belgium and the waffle. In the small alleys around the Grande Place (photo), there are many stalls offering traditional Brussels waffles. We were inspired by this bubbling and mischievous city, like its little man urinating who symbolizes the city. Is there any other city in the world with such a symbol? He is the hero of the city, as legend has it that in the Middle Ages he saved the capital from a fire using a natural means. With our surprising variety of waffles, we want to perpetuate this spirit of playfulness specific to the inhabitants of this beautiful country.

About the Belgian comics and the Tintin rocket

Every child in Brussels loves comic strips. The Belgian capital is the birthplace of a style that has toured the world: the Ligne Claire. Flat areas of colour surrounded by a black line. The creator of Tintin, Hergé, is the inventor. Today, many of the city's facades are covered with cartoon characters who are Hergé's stylistic children. The rocket was designed in 1950, 10 years before the start of the American Apollo program. This rocket is the symbol of our childhood in Brussels.
